This Privacy Notice explains how Losia collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the app. Losia is a lens inventory and wear-cycle tracking app that helps users organize lens records, monitor expiry status, manage reminders, and review usage history. This notice applies to information you provide directly, information created through your use of the app, and limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
Losia is designed as a utility app, not a medical service. The app does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or professional health advice. We aim to collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide app features such as lens record creation, reminder management, archive review, exports, purchase restoration, and customer support.

Cookies and similar technologies: Losia is a mobile app and does not rely on traditional browser cookies for its core features. Limited local storage, app cache, or similar device-based technologies may be used to remember settings, maintain session state, and improve app performance.

If you uninstall the app, locally stored information on your device may remain until removed by your device or operating system processes, unless you clear it first through app or device settings.

We do NOT use your information for advertising. We do NOT use your information for behavioral profiling. We do NOT sell your personal information. We do NOT use your data to train AI models or machine learning systems.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user data.
We do NOT share any user-uploaded or user-generated content with any third party.
We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers.
We may use a limited number of third-party service providers only for cloud storage, server hosting, or basic infrastructure operations. If such providers are used, they act solely on our behalf and under our instructions, are bound by contractual obligations to ensure data security, and are NOT permitted to use user data for any purpose beyond what we instruct.
These infrastructure providers do NOT use data for advertising or user profiling. They do NOT use data for AI training or model optimization. They do NOT use data for their own purposes or redistribute it. They do NOT independently access or use user content except as technically necessary to provide the infrastructure service under our instructions and security controls.
We may also disclose limited information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or valid governmental request, or where necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud. Any such disclosure will be limited to what is legally required.
Losia is not designed to identify people. The app does NOT perform facial recognition. The app does NOT conduct biometric analysis. The app does NOT create or store face templates, faceprints, or any biometric identifiers.
If a user-uploaded image incidentally contains a face or part of a face, that image is processed only for the requested app function related to lens record organization. Such incidental face content is not analyzed for identity, emotion, age, gender, health, or any biometric attribute. Uploaded images used for processing are deleted after processing is completed, and temporary processing data is deleted after completion.
Depending on your location and the technical configuration of our services, information may be processed or stored in countries or regions other than your own. This may include locations where our internal servers or infrastructure providers operate. When international transfers occur, we take reasonable steps to protect data through contractual safeguards, access controls, and security measures appropriate to the nature of the information.
By using Losia, you understand that your information may be processed in different regions as necessary to provide the service, maintain performance, and support app operations.
Losia is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under 17. If we learn that information from a person under 17 has been collected without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as practicable. If you believe a child under 17 has provided information through the app, please contact us using the email in Part 14.
Losia may use automated processing to help organize lens information and generate structured outputs requested by the user. All AI processing occurs on our own servers only. We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data.
User-uploaded images and related inputs used for AI or automated processing are handled only for the purpose of providing the requested app feature. Processing data and uploaded content are deleted after processing is completed. Temporary intermediate data is also deleted after completion.
We do NOT use user data, uploaded images, generated results, or support content for AI model training, model fine-tuning, or model optimization. We do NOT use user data for advertising, profiling, resale, or any unrelated purpose.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or operational practices. When we make material changes, we may update the effective date above and provide notice within the app or through another appropriate method. Your continued use of Losia after an updated notice becomes effective means the updated notice will apply to your use of the app, to the extent permitted by law.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include access restrictions, encrypted transmission where appropriate, limited retention, system monitoring, secure infrastructure practices, and minimization of data handling.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, operating system, Apple account, and any local backups you create.
By downloading, accessing, or using Losia, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Notice and agree to the collection, use, storage, and handling of information as described here. If you do not agree with this Privacy Notice, please do not use the app. You may also stop using the app and delete your local data at any time.
